Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold medals in team competitions along with the floor workouts. For the balance beam Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals at the Olympics. Her gold medal during the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the United States team. This made her, and teammates Gabby and Gabby one of the very first Americans - to achieve this accomplishment. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Furthermore, she was a member of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics squads. The gymnastics classes began at the age of 2 and enjoys exercises on the floor. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who died from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce is due to be released in the summer of this year.
